The surprising news is coming out from the side of Indian Cricket Management which says that former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly who has been serving as the BCCI president since 2019 will no longer be part of the world’s most extensive cricket board.
According to a source close to the development, on 6th October a meeting was held among the current BCCI members. The conclusion came with the dissociation of Ganguly from BCCI. The former Indian all-rounder, Roger Binny will again gain a commendable post in the BCCI.
As we know, Ganguly became the 39th president of BCCI in 2019. Since then India has performed well in all the formats and Ganguly has taken some hard-hitting decisions.
The source also says that two meetings were held yesterday, both in Delhi. The members who took part in the meeting were Sourav Ganguly, Jay Shah, Rajiv Shukla, N Srinivasa, and Arun Singh Dhumal. Not only this, the chairman of IPL Brijesh Patel, and Himanta Biswa Sarma were also part of this secret meeting.
