Shubhman Gill Broke Another Record Of Virat Kohli, Levels Babar Azam Feat

Indian player is showing their courage in ODIs, and Shubman Gill is currently at the top of the list, scoring three ODI centuries in this new year, including one double century. When Shubman Gill completed his fourth ODI century while playing against New Zealand in Indore on Tuesday, he also broke the impressive record of Virat Kohli.

In the last encounter of the series, Shubman Gill has also broken a remarkable record of Virat Kohli. He became the first Indian batter to score the most runs in a bilateral series of three ODIs matches.

Earlier, Shubman Gill was 36 runs away from breaking this record which he has achieved now. Kohli had recently played innings of 113, 4, and 166 in the three ODI series against Sri Lanka. Virat had scored 283 runs, but Shubman Gill broke Virat’s record by crossing the 400-run mark.

Apart from this, Shubman Gill has scored 360 runs in the current ODI series to equal Pakistan captain Babar Azam, who is on top. Babar Azam scored 360 runs in the three ODI series against the West Indies. Babar’s record would have been destroyed if Shubman Gill had scored one more run.

In the third ODI against New Zealand at Indore, Shubman Gill scored the fourth century of his ODI career while batting explosively. He executed a brilliant inning of 112 runs in 78 balls, including 5 sixes and 13 fours. Along with this, he shared a 212-run partnership for the first wicket with his captain and opening partner Rohit Sharma (101 runs).
