Shameful Comments On England’s Women U19 Cricket Team; Check Full Details

Every nation wants to promote women in every game sector, but the many reasons faced by women in the sports field are much more than anyone can think. We can’t deny that there are states that have fewer opportunities for women, and even at a low level, we need to work to improve the mindset of the people. Another most important and shameful reason for fewer women in sports is sexualizing.

This is a horrible fact that a sector of people always watches every age woman with the same eye, or you can say that they always put everyone in the same prism. If this type of shameful act took place for the national cricket team, it would be monstrous. The latest victim of this was the U-19 women’s national cricket team of England.

Recently, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the squad of the U-19 Women’s National Cricket for the upcoming inaugural ICC Women’s U-19 World Cup starting on 14th January in South Africa. This women’s England team includes cheerful teenage cricketers, some of whom are even under 17 and looking cheerful for their first mega event.

England Cricket Board posted their group photo before they left for South Africa from their official Twitter handle. But their photos receive ridiculous comments demanding their Instagram handle; some users advise them to join beauty contests, some extra zoom the photo and ask for locations, etc. Now you can think these girls are teenagers, and if they read the comments, how can they handle these inappropriate comments, what will happen to their parents, and how are the young parents planning to make their children’s future in sports?

While they have gained some positive comments, wish them good luck in neglecting the negative comment.

The comments drew sharp criticism from netizens. Disgusted by some of the responses to this post. In what world is it okay to sexualize women? In what world is it okay to SEXUALISE CHILDREN?” wrote a journalist.
