Speaking on the injury concern, Bangladeshi head coach Russell Domingo said we are looking at his injury very carefully and will do whatever will be best for him and the team. There is no further update about Shakib’s injury, but we will share the information as we get it.

Earlier, Bangladeshi ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal was injured before not playing any ODI match against the men in blue. Tamim Iqbal’s availability is still in doubt for the first test match. In the first test match, Joy will open with Zakir Hasan.

Whereas the speedster of the Bangladeshi team Taskin Ahmed has been recovering from a back injury, and he will not play the first test match. The Bangladeshi head coach gave this information, but he might be available for the second test match against India.

“We are not going to risk Taskin in the first Test. He has come off a layoff and a few injections. To get him to bowl for a day-and-a-half in these conditions in Chattogram may not be good for him.” said Russell.
