In the last ODI match against Bangladesh, young star batter Ishan Kishan played an outstanding 210 runs off 131 balls and became the batter to score the fastest double century in ODI cricket history, along with him veteran batter Virat Kohli who scored a century after 1,214 days the last time he scored ODI century against West Indies in 2019. With the help of these two batters, the Indian team set a humongous total of 409 runs on the board. In this case, the Bangladeshi team collapsed like a deck of cards and was only able to score 182/10 and lost the match by a huge margin of 227 runs.
Speaking on the crumbling batting side of the Bangladeshi team in the third ODI match, head coach Russell Domingo a supporting staff informed to media that the Bangladeshi team had been watching the football match between Argentina and Netherlands and hadn’t slept the whole night.
“Bangladeshi players stayed up all night before the third ODI to watch the Argentina-Netherlands football match, which the support staff believes led to poor performance.
Further speaking on this issue, he stated that you are a player and have to live in a disciplined way. You must go to bed on time, and you can’t watch football till 3 am.
“We have to go to bed, simple as that. You can’t watch football until three in the morning and play the Test that starts at 9:30 am. It is stupid. I’d be disappointed if they did.”
Indian team has only won the last match in the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. And now, the Indian team will play two test match series against Bangladesh.
