Sarfaraz Khan Gives A Befitting Reply To Indian Selectors, With His Bat

Sarfaraz Khan smashed another century in the Ranji Trophy, and it was his third hundred in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2022-23 season.

Playing in round 6 against Delhi, Sarfaraz Khan scored 125 runs off 155 balls with the help of 16 fours and 4 elegant sixes. He came to bat no.5 when his team score was 66/4, and he settled the innings with his partner.

Sarfaraz Khan’s performance in the previous season was also exceptionally well. He was the leading run-getter in the previous season with 982 runs, and his average was 122.75. He struck four hundred and two half-centuries that season, and his highest score was 275 runs against Saurashtra. In the 2019-20 season, he was the fifth-highest run-getter of the tournament with 928 runs and averaged 154.66.

Sarfaraz is the second-highest average batter in first-Class cricket history with an extraordinary average of 80.47 in 36 matches, second only after the legendary Sir Don Bradman, who averaged 95.14 in 234 games.

Sarfaraz is knocking on the door of India’s National Team. Previously he revealed the conversation with chief selector Chetan Sharma in which Chetan told him to work hard and he will get the chance in the national team’s squad.

Recently, Indian selectors announced the team for two test matches against Australia, but they haven’t picked Sarfaraz khan, after which fans and cricketers started asking the question to the Indian selectors. And now, the century against Delhi, Safaraz asked the question to Indian selectors, but this time with the bat.
