Sai Sudarshan drops a blunt remark regarding Rishabh Pant’s injury

The Indian team is waiting for scan results to see how bad Rishabh Pant’s foot injury is. The injury could seriously hurt their chances in the fourth Test against England at Old Trafford.

Sai Sudharsan, who scored 61 in India’s score of 264-4, was with Pant when he got hurt. Sudharsan said that Pant was in a lot of pain. He told reporters after Wednesday’s game, He’s gone for scans, and we’ll know more tonight.

He added, He was hitting the ball great. If he can’t come back, we’ll miss him. It will definitely have an impact. We’ll do our best and bat for a long time to make up for the loss.

Pant attacked the ball after England captain Ben Stokes chose to let India bat first. India went from 94-0 to 140-3 on Wednesday in Manchester. He hit Jofra Archer for four and Brydon Carse for a great six. But Pant’s strong performance ended when he hit Chris Woakes’ yorker onto his right foot while trying a reverse sweep. He was at 37 runs.

When Pant took off his boot, his foot was bruised and swollen as the team’s medical staff treated him on the field. Pant, who has scored 462 runs in this series with an average of 77, left the field in a buggy because he was in pain.

Whether he can bat and keep wicket for the rest of this Test is uncertain. India needs to win this game to win the five-match series since they are down 2-1.
