Recently, the Indian cricket team has been playing the four test match series against Australia. And Indian team is leading the series by 2-0. However, India’s wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant isn’t playing in the series because he became a victim of a road accident the previous year. But now he is making a fast recovery after the surgery. He is now in recovery mode, and his condition is improving continuously.
After the surgery, Rishabh Pant talked to the media for the first time and shared his feelings and recovery. The Indian wicket-keeper batter stated that he is feeling much better now. And he is hoping to return to the cricket field soon. He also thanks for the love and good wishes being received from his fans. He also said that he is ready for the challenges of the coming days.
“I am much better now and making a fast recovery. Hopefully, I will be fully fit soon with God’s grace and the medical team’s cooperation. It is difficult to say that everything around me has become positive or negative. However, I’ve got a new perspective on how I look at my life now. What I give importance to Today is enjoying my life to the fullest, including the little things we tend to ignore in our daily routine,” said Rishabh Pant.
The Indian wicket-keeper batter talked about the daily routine of happiness and little happiness. He explains how he enjoys brushing his teeth every day in the morning.
Rishabh Pant said, “Today, everyone is working hard to achieve something special, but we have forgotten to enjoy the little things that give us happiness every day. Especially after my accident, I enjoy brushing my teeth daily and sitting in the sun. While trying to achieve our goals, it seems we have not given importance to the routine things in life.”
He further added about missing cricket because he loves playing cricket the most. He is now all focusing on making his recovery in cricket.
“It is difficult to say how much I miss cricket because my life is literally about cricket, but I am now focusing on getting back on my feet, and I can’t wait to do that. I can do what I love the most, playing cricket. My biggest takeaway and message is that even feeling good daily is a blessing. That’s the mindset I’ve adopted since my accident, and it’s been a lesson for me.” Rishabh further added.
