Reports: These are the massive reasons because of which team India’s squad for the world cup is not finalized yet

The World Cup is set to start in a month’s time. All the teams are getting ready to face each other for the ultimate glory, and the deadline for the World Cup squad declaration is just 2 days away. Team India’s Chairman of Selectors, Ajit Agarkar, was spotted in Delhi to have a chat with Team India’s skipper, Rohit Sharma, for the World Cup.

There are certain points on which the board has not completely decided related to the World Cup. 

  1. BACK UP WICKET KEEPER: With Rishabh Pant almost certain as the designated keeper in team India’s squad, yet there is a question about who is going to be India’s second wicket keeper as both KL Rahul and Sanju Samson have done exceptionally well in the IPL 
  2. Third opener: With the reports of Virat Kohli opening the innings with Rohit Sharma in the World Cup yet, it is undecided who could be India’s third opener as both Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill are struggling with the form.
  3. Pace bowling unit: It is almost certain that Jasprit Bumrah is going to be the leader of the pack, with Siraj grabbing the spot for the second seamer,yet there is a conendurum over India’s pace bowling unit, as apart from Jasprit Bumrah, all other players have not been in the best of their form.
