Reports: EX- PAK Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed Uses Offensive Language During PSL Exhibition Match

During the exhibition match of the Pakistan Super League former Pakistan0 captain Sarfaraz Ahmed was seen using abusive language to his teammate Aimal Khan. The incident happened during the fourth over of Zalmi’s innings when batter Mohammad Harris hit a boundary against Aimal Khan. Haris eventually scored 50 runs. The game was played on February 5 at the Quetta Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti Cricket Stadium.

After Cricketpakistan.com.pk reported the incident, it came to the light. In the National T20 Cup 2022 match against Balochistan, the wicketkeeper-batter used bad language after being dismissed, and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) fined the former Pakistan captain for his behavior. He was accused by PCB of using bad language which comes under Article 2.3.
Lahore Qalandars coach Aaqib Javed claimed that he had protested about the incident to umpire Aleem Dar in an interview with Cricket Pakistan in 2021.

Aaqib told Cricket Pakistan, “I told Aleem Dar about how Sarfaraz has been treating Quetta’s bowlers from behind the stumps. I don’t know how they endure these abuses and insults. No code of conduct applies to him for abusing players in the open.”
On Sunday, Peshawar fell three runs short of Quetta’s total despite Haris’ effort. When they batted first, Quetta Gladiators scored 184 for 5 in their 20 overs, thanks to Iftikhar Ahmed’s power-hitting of 94 runs off 50 deliveries. Ahmed hit Peshawar’s fast bowler Wahab Riaz for six consecutive sixes in the last over of the game, pushing his team above 180.

Riaz was the most effective bowler for Peshawar despite giving up six sixes. He was also the most expensive bowler of the game as he grabbed three wickets in his spell of four overs while giving up 47 runs.
