The Afghanistan leg spinner Rashid Khan has been making headlines since his debut in world cricket. The cricketer is just 24 years old and now he has completed 500 T20 wickets in history.
Only two players in history have reached the milestone and after Dwayne Bravo, Rashid Khan is the latest addition. This player from Afghanistan has joined Dwayne Bravo on the exclusive list of players with 500 wickets in the shortest format of the game.
Rashid reached the landmark during a match between MI Cape Town and Pretoria Capitals at the Newlands Stadium in the ongoing South Africa T20 League (SA T20). Rashid, who is captaining MI Cape Town in the league’s inaugural season, bowled a fantastic spell in which he took 3 wickets and conceded just 16 runs.
