Afghanistan defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the second T20I match. Along with winning this match, Afghanistan has defeated Pakistan for the first time in an international series combining all three formats. Afghanistan won the first T20 by six wickets. Imad remained unbeaten on 64 off 57 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes. At the same time, Shadab was run out on the last ball of the innings. He could score 32 runs in 25 balls with the help of three fours. Fazalhaq took the maximum two wickets from Afghanistan. Whereas Naveen, Rashid and Jannat got one wicket each.

Chasing the target of 131 runs, the Afghanistan team got off to a steady start. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Usman Ghani added 30 runs for the first wicket. Zaman Khan bowled Ghani after scoring seven runs. After this, Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran added 56 runs for the second wicket, and here Pakistan was pushed on the back foot.

Gurbaj was run out after scoring 44 runs in 49 balls with the help of two fours and a six. Ibrahim also got caught out after scoring 38 runs in 40 balls with the help of three fours. In the end, Najibullah Zadran and Mohammad Nabi played carefully and gave victory to the Afghanistan team with one ball remaining.

Najibullah remained unbeaten on 23 runs in 12 balls with the help of two fours, and a six and Nabi scored 14 runs in nine balls with the help of a six. Zaman and Ihsanullah got one wicket each.
