IPL 2023: Big Revelation! MS Dhoni Had A Long Chat With Jadeja After The All-rounder was Removed As The Chennai Super Kings Captain

There was a lot of debate and discussion after Chennai Super Kings started a dramatic and poor campaign in the 2022 IPL under the captaincy of Ravindra Jadeja. After seven matches, Jadeja was removed from the captaincy and MS Dhoni once again came back to reign and lead the team from half of the tournament.

After this, it was speculated that Ravindra Jadeja won’t come back to Chennai Super Kings and he may part away from the franchise before IPL 2023. However, before the mini-auction for the 2023 IPL Chennai Super Kings retained their star all-rounder which finally brought a full stop to the rumors of the Dhoni-Jadeja controversy.

Now according to a report by Cricbuzz, Jadeja had a long conversation with Dhoni and had a one-on-one meeting with the CEO of CSK Kasi Viswanathan. It is believed that this conversation resolved all the misunderstandings for Ravindra Jadeja. The main topics of the chats were the reasons why Jadeja was unhappy about the captaincy decision and his expectations for the future.

After leaving the captaincy last year in mid-away, Jadeja had to leave the team as he suffered a finger injury. However, Dhoni as captain also could not do anything much and the team finished in 9th position in the points table.

This year Chennai will play their first match at the famous Narendra Modi Stadium on 31st March against the defending champions Gujarat Titans. It is being said that this might be the last IPL tournament for MS Dhoni and thus the team would look to bring a trophy for him.
