The runner-up for IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals will play its first match of the season against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 2 in Hyderabad. Sanju Samson took his team to the final last year but unfortunately, they lost the final game against Gujarat Titans.
At the IPL 2023 mini-auction, Rajasthan kept its core players and added some valuable players, including Jason Holder, Adam Zampa, and Joe Root.
The England star batters Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson will be the key players for Rajasthan in the batting department. The team suffered a setback as Prasidh Krishna was ruled out of the tournament due to a lumbar stress fracture.
