“Qurbani kay Janwar….”Ex Pakistan Skipper slammed Babar Azam and company after Pakistan’s exit from the world cup

Former Pakistan team leader Mohammad Hafeez made a subtle comment about the team after they were eliminated from the current T20 World Cup during the group stage. Pakistan didn’t make it to the Super 8 part of the competition because the USA’s game against Ireland was canceled due to poor weather in Florida. Both USA and Ireland got one point each, and USA moved on to the next round with India, who was at the top of Group A. After Pakistan was out of the tournament, Hafeez posted a mysterious message on social media.

“Qurbani Kay Janwar Hazir Hon (Time to present the sacrificial animals),” Hafeez wrote in the post with a Pakistan cricket hastag

Workers at the stadium spent many hours trying to dry the wet field in Lauderhill, but just after the umpires checked the conditions, a big rainstorm came and flooded the field again, ending any chance of play.

The USA made it to the quarterfinals in their first T20 World Cup mainly because they surprisingly beat Pakistan, who won the championship in 2009.

If the USA had lost to Ireland, it would have given Pakistan a chance to move into the top two spots when they play Ireland at the same location on Sunday.

Instead, Pakistan’s quick departure from the competition is very disappointing, especially since they were the runners-up in the event two years ago.

This is the fastest Pakistan has been eliminated from the T20 World Cup, playing only three matches, losing to India, and winning only against Canada.

Pakistan got eliminated in the early rounds in 2014 and 2016, but in all other years, they reached the semi-finals of the competition.

Reaching the quarter-finals also guarantees that the USA will be automatically entered into the 2026 World Cup.

“As a cricketer, you don’t want to leave home and not play cricket, you want to play but at the end of the day there was nothing that we could control,” USA stand-in skipper Aaron Jones said after the match was washed out
