Former Pakistan team leader Mohammad Hafeez made a subtle comment about the team after they were eliminated from the current T20 World Cup during the group stage. Pakistan didn’t make it to the Super 8 part of the competition because the USA’s game against Ireland was canceled due to poor weather in Florida. Both USA and Ireland got one point each, and USA moved on to the next round with India, who was at the top of Group A. After Pakistan was out of the tournament, Hafeez posted a mysterious message on social media.
“Qurbani Kay Janwar Hazir Hon (Time to present the sacrificial animals),” Hafeez wrote in the post with a Pakistan cricket hastag

Pakistan got eliminated in the early rounds in 2014 and 2016, but in all other years, they reached the semi-finals of the competition.
Reaching the quarter-finals also guarantees that the USA will be automatically entered into the 2026 World Cup.
