In contrast, Punjab Kings are all set to release their IPL 2022 skipper Mayank Agarwal and young finisher Shah Rukh Khan before the mini-auction, which will be held on 16 December in Kochi. Now they will be available in the mini auction to look for a bigger amount than the previous session, Mayank Agarwal(12cr) and Shah Rukh Khan (9cr) in the previous session. Earlier, the veteran Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has been confirmed as the new skipper of the Punjab Kings in a forthcoming session. Although he was not part of the T20 World Cup 2022, he will be the skipper of the second-string Indian side in the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand.
Punjab Kings is all set to be led by experienced veteran batter Shikhar Dhawan in the next season, and they will look for another opener in the mini auction, who will open along with Shikhar Dhawan.
