Premium Australian Test Player Didn’t Catch The Flight For India; Check The Full Report

The Australian Test team, led by Pat Cummins, has reached India for the 4-match Test series of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. But the Australian team reached Indian without their ace opener Usman Khawaja because he had not yet got India’s visa, so he could not come with the team.

Usman Khawaja has expressed his pain through social media. On his official Instagram, he shared a picture of the famous TV series ‘Narcos.’ Usman Khwaja wrote the caption, ‘I am also waiting for my Indian visa like this.’

Usman Khawaja could not catch a flight to India on Tuesday. He will leave for India on Thursday. Except for Usman Khawaja, the rest of the players left for India from Sydney on Tuesday. Cricket Australia gave this information in a conversation with the Wide World of Sports.

Pakistan-born Khawaja has played 56 Tests, 40 ODIs, and 9 T20 Internationals for Australia. Khawaja has scored more than 4000 runs in Test matches. Usman has 13 centuries in the Test. This 36-year-old batsman participated in IPL in 2016. Khawaja was voted Australia’s best Test player of the year, the award named after veteran spinner Shane Warne.
