Team India is all set to be up against touring England for the fourth time in the five-match test series. The fourth encounter of the series is all set to be played in Ranchi on February 23.
However, ahead of the fourth test in Ranchi, India’s new number three, Shubhman Gill praised youngsters for making full use of the opportunities in the absence of seniors.
Before the start of the match at the pre-match conference, Gill also talked about the players converting their starts into big knocks, which helped team India cross the 400 mark with ease in both innings.
Gill failed to score in the first inning but made a brilliant 91 in the second inning. Speaking of the same, Gill said that it is not easy for the players to score big in every match.
Gill was all praise for Sarfraz Khan, who scored two brilliant half-centuries in back-to-back innings.
Gill also spoke about Virat Kohli, saying that Virat has not been there with us in this test series. A player like Virat Kohli missing from your team obviously makes a difference, but Sarfraz Khan has stood up brilliantly in his absence for the team.
Team India will play England in Ranchi on February 23, with the fifth test scheduled in Dharamshala on March 7.
