“People who talked…”Unveiling Ravi Shastri’s Take on Pitch Discussions

Team India, up against England for the fourth time, is inching closer to a dramatic end. However, ahead of the start of the game, there was much speculation and discussion over the pitch, which was being used for the fourth encounter between the two sides.

Many of the players and greats of English cricket gave surprising reactions to the pitch that is being used for the fourth test match of the series.

England’s middle-order batter, Ollie Pope, expressed his concern over the cracks on the pitch; however, this match witnessed some of the classic test knocks from players from both sides.
On the other hand, Ollie Pope failed to open his account in both innings in the fourth test match of the series.

Speaking to the same, one of the greatest all-rounders in Indian cricket slammed England’s vice captain, saying that “the pitch was called all sorts of planets before the start. And those who talked about it did not get runs. Ollie Pope was one. Don’t play the pitch; play the ball. Rohit Sharma will do that on Day 4.”

Team India is currently leading the series by a margin of 2-1, and the fifth test match of the series between the two sides is all set to be played in Dharamshala on March 7.
