Pakistan Declared Their Squad For Asia Cup 2022, Hasan Ali Has Been Omitted

On Wednesday, PCB has declared their 15 member squad for Asia Cup 2022. This asian event will be like a preparatory tournament for all the Asian team, just before the T20 World Cup 2022. 

For The first time, Asia Cup will be played in T20 format and SLC will be the host of this T20  tournament, but matches will be played in UAE because of the economic crisis in Sri Lanka. The tournament is set to start from August 27, and final will be played on 11th September.

Pakistan will play their first match against India on 28th August, and SLC board is expecting to generate a huge revenue from this match, and so PCB has sent their strongest squad for this tournament as they are ensuring that their is no stone unturned before this mega clash.

They have omitted their out of form experienced bowler Hasan Ali from the Asia cup squad and Netherlands Odis. Their most dangerous weapon of fast bowling Shaheen Shah Afridi is back from injury, and is declared in both the  squad. 

Squad for Netherlands ODIs: Babar Azam (capt), Shadab Khan (vice-capt), Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Imam-ul-Haq, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Mohammad Wasim, Naseem Shah, Salman Ali Agha, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shahnawaz Dahani, Zahid Mehmood.

Squad for Asia Cup: Babar Azam (capt), Shadab Khan (vice-capt), Asif Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Mohammad Wasim, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shahnawaz Dahani, Usman Qadir.
