Australian senior cricketer Usman Khawaja made a shocking statment and talked how he was stopped by the hotel security guards despite wearing the Australian Jersey.
Usman Khawaja is one the of prime members of the Australian current test team and he has showed his caliber as many times he got a chance to represent the country.
The left-handed batter is know for his comebacks and after showing his class in T20 leagues, especially in Big Bash League, the battery is now the permanent part of the Australian red-ball team. He is now seen ad the partner of David Warner, who smashed a magnificent double hundred today on the second day of the boxing day test match.
Khawaja belongs from Asia and his family moved to Australia from Pakistan where he started playing cricket and ultimately made into the Australian National team.
Before the start of the boxing day test match, Usman Khawaja replied to a journalist on Twitter who was stopped by those same security officers who stopped Khawaja.
On Twitter, Khawaja replied,”You get use to it. I got stopped 3 times last year at our hotel, while in Australian Kit and asked if I was with the Australian Cricket team… #youdontlookaustralian #orsotheysay.”
Usman Khawaja made his international debut for Australia in 2011 during the Ashes Series while in 2013 against Sri Lanka he kept his feet into the ODIs. The batter played his maiden T20I against Indian in 2016.
