Not Maxwell, But RCB Should Give Rest To This Player As He Looks Tired, Harbhajan Singh’s Big Suggestion To Bengaluru Franchise

The performance of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2023 has been very poor. The team has played five matches, out of which they have suffered a loss in four games and managed to win only one. The team is facing challenges in both bowling and batting and it will be difficult for them to qualify for the playoffs.

Even after scoring 196 runs, the team led by Faf du Plessis couldn’t secure a win and lost the match by seven wickets in just 15.3 overs.

All the bowlers had an economy rate of over 10, with Mohammed Siraj’s recent decline in form being the major worry. He is struggling to take wickets in the powerplay overs, and batters are capitalizing on him in the death overs with boundaries. Despite being the most experienced bowler in the RCB lineup, his performance in this season has been very poor.

Meanwhile, the former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has said that RCB management should give rest to Mohammed Siraj as the bowler looks tired. The bowler played four out of five test matches against England and he looks less energetic on the field.

“Siraj is having a poor season, which has impacted RCB this year. He is not taking wickets, and his economy rate has increased alarmingly this year. I think RCB should rest him for a few games to allow him to work on his shortcomings, and the break could help him. Until he takes wickets for the team, RCB will always be in trouble.”

“They don’t have any other bowler, who is experienced like him and their bowling has caused a lot of damage to their changes,” Harbhajan Singh said on Star Sports.
