Not Jasprit Bumrah or R Ashwin, Virat Kohli Picks A Bowler He Wants To Face For Lifetime

Virat Kohli is considered to be one of the greatest batsmen of all time due to his remarkable performance in all three formats of cricket. However, he went through poor form during the COVID-19 pandemic and was unable to score big runs. But the batting star managed to regain his form after taking a six-week break before the Asia Cup last year and since then he has been scoring with all his strengths.

Before the beginning of IPL 2023, Virat Kohli participated in an interview on YouTube with his former Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate Ab de Villiers. During the interview, the two players shared some amazing stories of their respective careers.

During the conversation with AB De Villiers, he was asked to pick a bowler to whom he can play for a lifetime. It was expected that Virat Kohli could come with some Indian name like Jasprit Bumrah, R Ashwin, or Ravindra Jadeja but he surprised everyone by choosing his former RCB Teammate.

Kohli surprised everyone by selecting former South African pacer Dale Steyn over others. Steyn and Virat played together for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League from 2008 to 2010 and then again in 2019.

When De Villiers was asked the same question he chose former Pakistani pacer Mohammad Asif.
