New Zealand Announced Squad For Pakistan Series With Star Young Players

New Zealand has announced a 15-member squad for the five-match ODI series on the Pakistan tour. Tom Latham will lead New Zealand in the ODI series against Pakistan. The ODI series between New Zealand and Pakistan will start on 26 April.

Be aware that New Zealand will not get the services of their regular star players in this series, as the players are currently in India due to IPL. The Kiwi team is missing the services of Kane Williamson, Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson, Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner, and Finn Allen.

New Zealand has included two new faces, Ben Lister and Cole McConkey. It is expected that both of these players will get a chance to make their debut. However, Tom Latham will benefit from the experience of Darryl Mitchell, Matt Henry, James Neesham, Henry Nicholls, and Ish Sodhi.

New Zealand head coach Gary Stead said, “We have had some great matches against Pakistan in limited-overs cricket at home and away. It is a tight team. The World Cup will be held this year, and this series will help the players prepare. A five-match ODI series will be played between New Zealand and Pakistan from 26 April. After this, five T20 International matches will be played between the two teams.
