Pakistan has got a major setback before the 5th T20I against England. Younger pacer from the team Naseem Shah has been ruled out due to a viral infection.

The latest report suggests that the pacer has been taken to the hospital and there is no chance of him being part of the T20I in Lahore. He was referred for medical care last Tuesday night. The official confirmation from PCB is yet to come whether he will take part in the upcoming matches or not.

The PCB official further stated, “He will not be playing tonight and any decision whether he plays the remaining matches will be taken on the advice of medical Pane.” A source close to the Pakistan Cricket Team revealed that the bowler has been tested for dengue as the city is going through the rapid mosquito-borne infection everyday.

In the absence of Naseem Shah, all-rounder Aamer Jamal is all set to make his international debut for Pakistan Cricket Team.
