In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, playing for Tamil Nadu N. Jagdeesan was just outstanding on the ground, he smashed 25 fours and 15 sixes all over the ground, with the help of his splendid knock Tamil Nadu became the first team to score 506/2 runs in 50 overs, before this England scored 498 runs against the Netherlands, which was the highest score in 50 overs till date.

Jagdeesan became the first batter to hit a fifth-consecutive hundred and surpassed Sri-Lankan batter Kumar Sangakkara to score the most no. of consecutive centuries in List A cricket history and also break the record of Virat Kohli, Prithvi Shaw, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Devdutt Padikkal, who have scored four centuries in a single season of Vijay Hazare Trophy.
The maverick innings of N. Jagdeesan laced with 15 sixes, which is the most sixes hit by any batter in List A cricket. However, his total score is 799 runs which is the most run scored by any batter in one season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

This knock of Jagdeesan will be considered by all the IPL franchises and the reaction of this will be seen on 23rd December in the IPL mini-auction.
