Ex-Indian cricketer turned commentator Murali Kartik has received heavy criticism from cricket fans on social media for his comments on RCB’s pacer, Yash Dayal.
While doing commentary during RCB’s match against the Punjab Kings, Murali Kartik referred to Yash Dayal as trash. Murali Kartik said, “Someone’s trash is someone’s treasure” while speaking about Yash Dayal’s performance in the match.
Yash Dayal had a phenomenal night with the ball against the Punjab Kings. The left-arm pacer gave up only 10 runs in his first three overs. Murali Kartik called Yash Dayal trash because of his last year’s performance against KKR, when he was smashed by Rinku Singh for five sixes.
This performance from Yash Dayal led to his departure from the team and was finally released before the auction by the Gujrat Titans.
Yash Dayal was very good with the ball. The seamer gave away just 23 runs in his four overs, picking up the wicket of Sam Curran. On the other hand, there hasn’t been any clarification from Karthik’s side regarding his statement to Yash Dayal.
