The five-time defending Indian Premier League(IPL) champion Mumbai Indians will begin their season against Royal Challengers Bangalore at M Chinnaswamy Mumbai Indians had a terrible IPL 2022 campaign, finishing last in the table with just 4 victories in 14 games.
Due to retention limits, the Rohit Sharma-led franchise was without the services of former stars Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, and a few others before the IPL 2022.
