The Mumbai Indians have finally added their first victory to this year’s IPL campaign. The five-time champions defeated the Delhi Capitals by 29 runs.
This tournament has not started that well for the Mumbai Indians so far, but against Delhi, their batters went all guns, blazing and scoring 232 runs in 20 overs.
Delhi Capitals had a single fighter in the form of Tristan Stubbs. The South African scored 71, facing just 25 deliveries. However, he remained out and did not get a strike in the final over.
This was Mumbai’s 150th win in this format, as they became the first team to do so. They are followed by the Chennai Super Kings, who have registered 148 victories so far.
