In a thrilling Challenger match at Grand Prairie Stadium, MI, New York (MINY) displayed their prowess and emerged victorious against the Texas Super Kings (TSK) in the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2023.

The Texas Super Kings started their innings slowly, with opener Faf du Plessis struggling to find his rhythm, scoring only 6 runs off 9 balls. However, Devon Conway stood out with a solid performance, contributing 38 runs off 35 deliveries. Other notable contributions came from Milind Kumar (37 runs off 34 balls) and David Miller (17 runs off 10 balls). Despite these efforts, TSK faced consistent pressure from the New York bowlers.
Trent Boult proved to be the star performer for MINY, delivering a sensational spell of fast bowling.
