Indian veteran fast bowler Mohammad Shami is ordered to pay Rs 50,000 per month to his wife. Kolkata court orders Indian pacer to pay Rs 50,000 monthly maintenance to separated wife, Hasin Jahan. Judge Anindita Ganguly of Alipore Court marked the verdict on the matter.

However, Hasin Jahan is unhappy with this amount because she demanded Rs 10 lakh per month. In 2018, Hasin Jahan filed a legal petition demanding monthly alimony of Rs 10 lakh. In the petition, Hasin Jahan said that she wanted alimony of Rs 7 lakh for personal expenses and Rs 3 lakh per month for her daughter’s upkeep. Hasin Jahan can now appeal against the verdict in the High Court.

In 2018, Shami’s wife, Hasin Jahan, made serious allegations against this veteran, like domestic violence, match-fixing, and dowry harassment. After this, Mohammed Shami clarified the allegations of his wife. Later Shami and Hasin Jahan separated.

Shami clarified the allegations and said, “Haseen and her family members are saying they will sit and talk on all issues. But I do not know who is instigating them. All that is going on in our personal life is completely false. There is some big conspiracy against me. This is an attempt to defame me.
