Md. Shami Achieved Another Milestone Joins The Elite List With Legend Kapil Dev

India’s veteran speedster Mohammed Shami achieved another amazing feat in the first Test against Australia in Nagpur. Mohammed Shami got the 400th wicket of his international career in the form of David Warner in his first ball of the third over of the match. Shami is the fifth Indian speedster who has taken 400 or more wickets in international cricket.

Mohammed Shami became the 56th bowler in the world, while India’s 9th bowler took 400 or more wickets in international cricket. If we talk about international cricket, most 9 bowlers each from India and Australia have taken 400 or more wickets.

The record for taking the most wickets among Indian fast bowlers is in the name of Kapil Dev. The 1983 World Cup champion captain has taken 687 wickets in international cricket. Zaheer Khan is second on this list, who took 610 wickets. Javagal Srinath is third on this list with 551 wickets. With 434 wickets, Ishant Sharma is on fourth place. Mohammed Shami has joined this club at the fifth position with 400 wickets.

Along with this, the Indian speedster performed really well at the start of the innings.
