“I feel Pujara’s achievements aren’t…” Sachin Noteable Remark On Pujara On Completion Of 100th Test Match

Indian team is playing the most prestigious test series against the Australians in the home under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The first test match of the four test match series started in Nagpur on 9th February. Both teams are laced with cricketing stars, and they have some golden chance to name some individual achievements.

India’s “modern wall” in test cricket, Cheteshwar Pujara, has featured in 98 test matches for the Indian team. And he is playing his 99th international match in the longest format in Nagpur, and if he plays the second test match in Delhi, he will become the 13th Indian to do so.

Indian Legend Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar talked about Pujara to PTI. Sachin explained that Pujara’s achievements hadn’t been recognized quietly enough by the Indian selectors.

I feel Pujara’s achievements aren’t recognized enough, and his importance in the team isn’t recognized enough, generally,” said Tendulkar.

Further, Sachin praised Pujara and stated that he has a magnificent cricketer. “He has played magnificently for the country, and his contribution has been immense in whatever success the Indian cricket team has had,” Tendulkar further added.

Cheteshwar Pujara has played 98 test matches, in which he scored 7014 runs at an average of 44.39. He is known for his master-class innings in the longest cricketing format. His batting skills and passion for cricket are overwhelming. His patient innings helped many times the Indian cricket team to overcome from the back foot to the draw or win.
