Mayank Yadav’s Injury Update: Recovery Progress and Expected Return

Lucknow Super Giants pace bowling sensation Mayank Yadav is all set to make a comeback in the IPL. The young pacer has passed the fitness test and is set to make a return in Lucknow’s games against the Mumbai Indians. Mayank Yadav has been out of action since his third game, APRIL 7.

Mayank Yadav has been the talk of the town ever since the young paceman made his debut against the Punjab Kings. The pacer has bowled consistently over a speed of 150 except in one match against the Gujarat Titans, in which he suffered an injury.

As per the reports, Mayank Yadav has cleared all the fitness tests and is all set to make a comeback in Lucknow’s clash against the Mumbai Indians on April 30.

Speaking about Mayank Yadav’s fitness Lucknow’s bowling coach, Morne Morkel, said that “Mayank is fit and has passed all the fitness tests. He will be in our potential playing XII tomorrow.”

Lucknow Super Giants will have the opportunity to bolster their pace attack with the return of Mayank Yadav, and in all possible scenarios, it’s Matt Henry who is going to make way for Mayank Yadav.

Mayank Yadav has so far played three matches in the ongoing season and has picked up six wickets. He also holds the record for getting two Man of the Match awards in his first two matches against the Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangaluru.
