Jay Shah To Resign From The President Post Of ACC, Here Is The Surprising Reason

According to a recent report, the BCCI Secretary Jay Shah might leave his post as Asian Cricket Council chairman(ACC). To those who don’t know, Jay Shah is currently holding the two prime positions of cricket.

The reports also claim that Jay Shah is looking to file his name among the candidates for the International Cricket Council (ICC President). The election for the ICC president post will be held in November this year.

The Annual General Meetings (AGM) of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) are set to occur in Bali, Indonesia, over the next two days. Several significant decisions may be made during this two-day gathering. The AGM is specifically slated for Wednesday, January 31, with the participation of all members of the continental association, including Jay Shah.

The spotlight will be on the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary, as various factors draw attention to his role in the upcoming discussions.

In this meeting the venue of the Asia Cup 2025 which will be played in T20I format keeping in mind the 2026 T20I World Cup.
