Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is recovering from his leg injury, and he was seen on cricket in a domestic match, but his comeback wasn’t good, and he struggled a lot while fielding and batting.
Currently, the Australian team is on tour to play the 4 test match series against India, of which they have lost the first two test matches.
Everyone was raising questions about Australia’s batting approach in the Delhi test because they were in a good position, but in a few hours, their wickets collapsed like a deck of cards, and they lost the match very easily.
Regarding this, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell explained that their teammates have performed well against the Indian team in Delhi. It’s difficult to face Indians in their den, and our players fight, but they need to spend more time on the wickets.
“I think they showed a lot of fight. I think the bar in that one session, I thought they were outstanding. It’s bloody difficult over there. It’s not an easy place to play, so foreign for us. I feel like we’ve been, apart from a couple of little moments, we’ve been in the fight. I suppose India at different times, and they’ve shown a lot of fight, sticking it out for just a little bit longer.” Maxwell explained.
Cricket Australia announced their squad for the ODI series against the Indian team. Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Marsh and Jhye Richardson will return to the field after some time.
