Team India have pumped England under as they defeated the visitors by a huge margin of 434 runs in Rajkot and take a 2-1 lead in the series.

England's batting failed completely in the second innings of the Rajkot test, as they got bundled out for just 122 on the board while chasing a target of 557.

However, despite the performance by English batters, the England team's stalwart Joe Root has been facing a lot of criticism for his performance in the ongoing test series. Root has only made 77 runs across the six innings with the bat.

However, apart from his poor form, Joe Root has been severely criticized for his way of getting dismissed in the ongoing series. Joe Root has been getting dismissed by playing a lot of rash shots, which causes him to lose his wicket.

Former England captain Nasser Hussain feels that people feel that Root does not fit with England's 'Bazball' school of cricket, but the average of 51 under skipper Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum, a rise from his average of 49 in test matches, proves it wrong.

Husain further stated: "After the first two Tests against India, we said that Root might not be suited to the Bazball style of play.

But the statistics say otherwise. Root averages 51 under this Bazball, and he averaged 49 before that. His dismissal sort of sums up where we are with Bazball. It will thrill and frustrate in equal measure. When he is playing those reverse-scoops to the first ball of the day of an Ashes Test, we all jump up and applaud. When he does it to Bumrah here and gets out, we all say, 'What a disgrace'."

Team India will face England in the fourth test match of the series in Ranchi on February 23.
