Is Everything Good In Australian Camp? Australian All-Rounder Return To Australia Without Playing Any Match

Another Australian all-rounder Ashton Agar is returning home from the India tour to play domestic cricket for Western Australia ahead of the third Border-Gavaskar Test starting March 1 in Indore. And there is no further announcement for his replacement in the squad.

The Australia team is trailing by 2-0 in the four-match series. Josh Hazlewood and David Warner have already returned home due to injuries. Mitchell Swepson had gone to Australia for the birth of his first child and will now return to India. Pat Cummins is also in Australia due to family reasons, but he is likely to return to India before the third Test match.

However, Cameron Green is certain to be fit for the third Test and will play as David Warner’s replacement.

Agar played his last Test against South Africa in Sydney. He was part of the team as the second spinner, along with Nathan Lyon. However, he did not get to play any matches in India. The Australian team played with two spin bowlers in Nagpur and three in Delhi, but Agar was left out in both matches.

Before the Delhi Test, the Australian selectors told the Australian media that Agar was not selected because his bowling in the red ball was not at the level they wanted.
