Irfan Pathan Picks His Bowling Lineup For The T20I Series Against South Africa

After a successful T20I series against Australia, Team India is now gearing up for the T20 series against South Africa. Meanwhile, the former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has picked his bowling choices for this T20I series against South Africa.

Pathan said that Team India need to choose one between Mohammed Siraj and Deepak Chahar as their third pacer in the upcoming T20I series against South Africa.

Both teams will play the first game of this T20 series on December 10 in Durban on Sunday. Team India have announced a 17-member squad for the series against SA which includes four pacers and the same number of spinners.

While having a discussion with Star Sports, Pathan was asked to pick a tentative bowling lineup for team India to which he replied,”You need to have three fast bowlers. There will be Arshdeep (Singh) for sure, Mukesh Kumar for sure, and obviously, they will have to choose between Mohammed Siraj and Deepak Chahar.”

Irfan Pathan picked Siraj in the playing XI. He said,”Mohammed Siraj is going all guns blazing. He is especially doing well in ODI cricket. Why not try him and give him a long run? You might find a guy who can nail the yorkers as well eventually and bowl a couple of good overs with the new ball.”
