The 17th edition of IPL will be played next year in IPL and before it all the teams have already given the names of their released and retained players. There are many such players who are in full confidence of getting a buyer in the mini-auction of IPL 2024.
Meanwhile, the former skipper of West Indies Jason Holder played his last season for Rajasthan Royals and he could potentially be one of those all-rounders who could turn the game for the franchise.
Speaking on the same topic, the all-rounder showed his desire for two teams he wants to play in the IPL in the next edition. Holder said that he would love to go to Chennai Super Kings or Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the new season.
According to a quote from NDTV, Holder said,”I have had a good time with Sunrisers (Hyderabad) and Chennai (Super Kings) as well. One of those two teams would be nice to go back to, but it is not in my hands.”
Holder has given his services both for Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He joined CSK in 2013 and later he was traded to SRH before IPL 2015.
He also talked about how beneficial the IPL would be before the much awaited T20 World Cup 2024.
He said,”The T20 cricket you play leading up to a World Cup is always beneficial. Definitely, the IPL being played before the T20 World Cup would help. It will help the players prepare mentally as well.”
