After this loss, Chennai Super Kings may get another big worry. The head coach of Chennai Super Kings, Stephen Fleming has informed us that their captain MS Dhoni is currently dealing with a knee injury. Due to this, he is getting problems running properly between the wickets.
During CSK’s recent match against the Rajasthan Royals on April 12, MS Dhoni was observed not running at his full capacity due to his knee injury. It was reported that Dhoni had been wearing a kneecap during the team’s pre-season camp.
The coach said, “He (Dhoni) is nursing a knee injury, which you can see in some of his movement, which is hindering him somewhat. But still what you saw (against RR) is a great player for us. His fitness has always been very professional.”
Despite his knee injury, MS Dhoni showcased his excellent ball-striking abilities during the match against the Rajasthan Royals. He played a crucial role in Chennai Super Kings’ chase of 176 runs, remaining unbeaten on 32 off just 17 balls. Despite CSK losing the match, Dhoni’s performance was appreciable in all aspects.
