IPL 2023: Will Deepak Chahar Miss The Tournament From Half-way For CSK, Bowler Himself Responds

The star Indian bowler Deepak Chahar was out from the team in the 15th edition of IPL in 2022. It was a great setback for Chennai Super Kings as they struggled the whole season and finished in the 9th spot in the points table. However, the bowling all-rounder has given assurance that he will serve the Chennai Super Kings for the whole tournament and hope injury does not create any hindrance.

Deepak Chahar has expressed his desire to remain injury-free throughout the entire 2023 IPL season. Chahar, who is an important player for the CSK team, suffered a stress fracture and a quad grade 3 tear last year, which kept him out of action for over eight months. He has recently made a comeback to the team.

According to Chahar, coming back from an injury can be challenging for a fast bowler. He expressed his desire to avoid getting injured again and stated his intention to play the entire season without any health issues.

“I know how to deal with injuries, but this time it was longer. It was at least eight months. For a fast bowler, coming back from an injury is a difficult task. Hopefully, I don’t get it again and I play this entire season and year injury-free,” Chahar told CSK TV.

Chahar also expressed his gratitude for being a part of the CSK team and talked about the team’s positive environment. He believed that a team with a supportive atmosphere and constant focus helps a player a lot. He talked about the positivity and the chances of reaching the finals and winning it.

“I have been lucky to be part of a good team and good environment. If you have an environment, where everyone is supporting each other. And if you are always talking about winning the tournament. That’s where you reach the finals and win the finals,” he added.
