Ben Stokes is suffering a mild Knee injury during the ongoing Test series vs New Zealand and it was said that the all-rounder might leave a few initial matches for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023. But, the English player has cleared all the rumours regarding his injury and marked himself available for the Dhoni led franchise.

According to a report by The Cricketer, the all-rounder said that he will be avaj ke for Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming IPL edition and he is not that serious with his fitness. Stokes admitted that it is very frustrating but he will resolve this problem before summer.

“Hopefully come the Ashes, I won’t have to worry about it,” he told BT Sport.

In the second inning of the Test match against New Zealand at Wellington, the England red-ball captain bowled only two overs and he was also seen struggling with his bat.

Speaking on the IPL scenario of Stokes, coach Brendon MaCculum said,”Stokesy’s knee is just something we have to monitor. He’s off to the IPL where there is slightly less demand on his conditioning so hopefully he’ll be fine.”
