In a do-or-die match for Royal Challengers Bangalore, the team defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets in the 65th match of IPL 2023, thanks to Virat Kohli’s century. The South African batter Heinrich Klaasen also scored a century for SRH but it went in vain after Kohli’s masterclass. Bangalore won the toss and elected to field first in this match.

He reached his century in 62 balls hitting a six off the fourth ball of Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s 18th over. This is his sixth century in the IPL.
