Ravindra Jadeja was the key person for Chennai Super Kings when Chennai Super Kings beat Gujarat Titans in the Qualifier 1 played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. The all-rounder got 2 wickets in bowling and before it while batting in the first inning he scored 22 runs in just 16 balls.
After the match ended, Jadeja was facilitated with the “Upstox Most Valuable Asset Of The Match” for his contribution in CSK’s important win.
After receiving the award, Jadeja made a hilarious tweet and took a dig at the fans. This tweet was a direct attack for the MS Dhoni fans who used to pray for Jadeja’s wicket so that MS Dhoni could come to bat and they can see Captain Cool hitting sixes.
Jadeja tweeted,”Upstox knows but..some fans don’t.” However, the fans of CSK made a twitter trend for the all-rounder with the Hashtag “We Love Jadeja” after his heroic performance against Gujarat Titans.
When Chennai had a game against Delhi Capitals on May 10, Dhoni came and smashed two sixes against Khaleel Ahmed. At that time Jadeja had said,”When I bat at 7, the crowd is disappointed and chants for Mahi bhai. Imagine if I bat higher; they will just wait for me to get out.”

Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by 15 runs and made into the final of IPL for the record 10th time.
In the first qualifier match played in Chepauk, Gujarat Titans won the toss and decided to bowl first. After that, Ruturaj Gaikwad played another magnificent innings for the Super Kings. The young opener scored 60 runs off 44 balls with the help of 7 fours and 1 six. Gaikwad formed a crucial partnership of 87 runs for the first wicket with Devon Conway. On the other hand, Conway scored 40 runs off 34 balls.
For the Gujarat Titans, Mohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami took two wickets each. On the other hand, Darshan Nalkande, Rashid Khan, and Noor Ahmed also claimed one wicket each.
Chennai Super Kings had set a target of 173 runs after losing the toss. Shubman Gill scored the highest runs for the Titans. Gill scored 42 runs off 38 balls. Besides him, Rashid Khan also played an inning of 22 runs off 16 balls, but another batsman failed to contribute which led GT team to a 15-run loss.
