On April 12, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Rajasthan Royals (RR) bowler Sandeep Sharma managed to defend 21 runs against Chennai Super Kings batsman MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja. With this, RR helped to secure a three-run victory.
Sandeep Sharma joined the Rajasthan Royals franchise as a replacement for the injured Prasidh Krishna. As a right-arm pacer, he demonstrated his capacity to bowl effectively under pressure by restricting MS Dhoni and Jadeja to go big.
During a post-match conversation with Yuzvendra Chahal and Lasith Malinga, Sandeep Sharma shared that the majority of his deliveries in the final over were on point. He also praised MS Dhoni for his capability to hit sixes off the toughest deliveries.
After the victory, Sandeep Sharma used social media to express his feelings about MS Dhoni and congratulate him on playing his 200th IPL match for Chennai Super Kings.
