IPL 2023: Big Blow For Mumbai Indians, This Star Can’t Bowl Till April 13

Mumbai Indians were one of those franchises which are now starring many young talents and the latest addition of Australian all-rounder Cameron green has made them more dangerous. In the mini IPL auction which happened on December 23, Mumbai spent INR 17.50 Crores to make sure for the cricketer but the bad news is coming out for the Mumbai Indians management and fans.

Cricket Australia has informed that Cameron Green will be available in the IPL for the Mumbai Indians but he won’t be allowed to bowl till April 13, when Mumbai will almost complete 3-4 games of the 16th edition. This means the Australian all-rounder will be only present there as a batter.

The guidelines for Cameron Green have been issued by Cricket Australia(CA) and they have strictly asked Mumbai Indians to follow this in the starting phase of IPL 2023.

On the morning of the IPL Auction, BCCI CEO and IPL COO Hemang Amin shared a report from the Australian cricket board to the Times Of India which reads – “Cricket Australia has informed this morning that Cameron Green (player No. 8) will be fully available. However, if he features in all four Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Green will not be able to bowl for four weeks from the conclusion of the fourth Test scheduled from 9th March to 13th March 2023.”
