Inspite Of Wanting To Play All The Test Matches Why Was Jasprit Bumrah Rested For The Fourth Test Match Against England?

Team India is all set for the ultimate face-off against England in Ranchi on February 23. However, India has made a bold move ahead of the fourth test match against England.

Indian team management rested team India’s pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah for the fourth test match of the series in order to manage his workload. The pace bowler has already bowled more than 80 overs in the ongoing series against England.

However, as per the latest reports, Jasprit Bumrah was keen on playing all the matches of the series, but with the T-20 World Cup around the corner, team management doesn’t want to take the risk in the case of Jasprit Bumrah.

Jasprit is not the only player to be rested in the series; before him, Mohmmad Siraj was also rested for the second test match of the series.

Apart from the Mumbai team, India is also going to miss the services of KL Rahul as he continues to recover from the injury he sustained during the first test match of the series.

Jasprit Bumrah has been replaced by Mukesh Kumar, who was recently seen playing a Ranji Trophy game in which he picked up 10 wickets across the innings.

It will be interesting to see what combination Team India will have going into the test match, looking at the Ranchi pitch, which is going to assist spinners from day one.
