India Coach’s Candid Explanation For Resting Bumrah In Ranchi Test

The fourth test match of the series between India and England in Ranchi has already started, with England winning the toss and electing to bat first in Ranchi.

However, ahead of the fourth test, India made one change in the playing 11, giving Aakashdeep a chance to represent India at the international stage in place of Jasprit Bumrah.

The news of Jasprit Bumrah resting for the fourth test match of the series already started to make headlines even before Team India arrived in Ranchi for the match to be played.

However, ahead of the fourth test match, team India’s coach Vikram Rathore was asked about the reason to rest Jasprit Bumrah, to which he replied, “With regards to the World Test Championship, every test match for team India is very crucial, and we would love to feature Jasprit Bumrah in all the test matches for India, but unfortunately, it’s not possible.”

Rathore further stated that the kind of schedule that India is going to have in the future, as well as the IPL, was everyone’s decision to make Bumrah rest for this match because there will be pretty little turn-around time for the matches in the near future, looking at the IPL and the T-20 World Cup, which start almost five days after the completion of the IPL (May 26), as per the reports.
