IND vs ENG: Team India May Release These 3 Players In Rajkot Test, These Cricketers Are Possible Replacement

After losing the first match against England in Hyderabad, Team India made a strong comeback in the second Test played at Visakhapatnam and they beat the visitors by 106 runs to equal the series 1-1.

In the first two matches, team India has performed brilliantly well and some of the players have really proved their potential in red-ball cricket. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill along with Jasprit Bumrah showed their sheer dominance against England in the second Test to win the match for India.

However, in this special segment, we will talk about those three players who could be removed from the team and some other players can make an entry for them.

Shreyas Iyer – The Indian middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer has disappointed everyone even after getting continuous chances in the playing XI. Despite getting promising starts, the Indian batter has consistently failed to capitalize on those opportunities in the initial four innings of the series.

In total, Iyer has scored 104 runs with a notably low average of 26. Consequently, the Indian think tank might consider experimenting with something different in the Rajkot Test.

Mukes Kumar – Mukesh Kumar was brought into the second test as a replacement for Mohammad Siraj. However, the pacer has been mostly underwhelming. He proved to be costly in the first innings and leaked runs in the second innings as well. Overall, Mukesh bowled 12 overs in the Vizag Test and managed to pick up only one wicket with an economy rate of almost six runs per over.

KS Bharat – KS Bharat’s struggle with the bat persists in India. Despite featuring in 12 innings, the wicketkeeper-batter is yet to score a half-century for the national team. In the ongoing series, Bharat has managed to score 92 runs in four innings and has looked uncomfortable at the crease. With players like Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan waiting in the wings, one of them may replace the wicket-keeper batter in the next match.
